This year alone he has won: ASCS National winged 360 series, regional winged 360s, USAC national midget races both asphalt (indy) and dirt (indy midget week and belleville $12,500, USAC silver crown dirt mile (illinois), USAC national Sprint ($15,000 Oskaloosa, Iowa), USAC/CRA (CHICO), world of outlaws winged 410s (Gold Cup most prestigious winged 410 race in California)...nobody has accomplished what this Nor-Cal kid has done this year. He is going down on the history books for sure.
Cheers!

Add to his list of accomplishments a sweep of the four crown nationals (midgets, sprints, silver crown) in his first ever visit to Eldora Speedway in any race car. Nobody has this kids talent in racing right now, nobody.
Cheers!

Those PAS folks who are not convinced of his talent are the luddites that Dave Mahar always speaks of. They act like the world of racing revolves around southern California non wing racing alone. Well guess what folks a northern California kid from winged Sprint car racings ranks is taking the world of open wheel by storm. I'll say it again....nobody has his talent in open wheel racing today. Others may have had a longer career but this kid is uniquely talented.
Cheers!

Some people find it hard not to insult someone, even when they are complimenting ability and talent.

Height: 5' 6" Weight: 120 lbs. Parents: Mike & Janet Larson Family Heritage: Mother: Japanese American Father: Norwegian, British and American Indian
From his Facebook page: "Now that Eldora Speedway's 4-Crown is all said and done, Kyle came out a BIG winner. He won in all three of the divisions that ran tonight! In the Keith Kunz Motorsports #67 Midget he was 3rd fast in qualifying, won heat 3, started 4th in the main and won. In the Hoffman Auto Racing # 69 non wing sprint car he was 11th in qualifying, won heat 3, started 11th in the main and won. In the Keith Kunz Motorsport # 71 Silver Crown Car he was fast time, started on the pole and won the main. All with never racing at Eldora before!"
See Robin Miller's article at http://auto-racing.speedtv.com/article/usac-larsons-legend-continues-to-grow/.
He's been pretty much the only driver up here who can compete with Tim Kaeding in the 410 wings.

Henry if you stay in wings, you're stuck in wings. He was a kid running what they had up there, but when he could, he got out from under the wing to go forward. Oh sure he came back for some big winged show's, but look what he was doing before he put it to em.
June 10: Won the USAC midget feature at Bloomington (quarter-mile dirt). • June 18: Won the pole position at Milwaukee in his debut in USAC’s Silver Crown series (one-mile pavement). • July 28: Won the USAC midget race at Lucas Oil Raceway (five-eighths mile pavement). • Aug. 6: Won the Belleville Nationals midget classic in his first attempt (half-mile dirt). • Aug. 9: Won the USAC sprint race at Oskaloosa, Ia. (half-mile dirt). • Sept. 4: Won the Ted Horn 100 for USAC Silver Crown cars at DuQuoin, Ill. (one-mile dirt). • Sept. 9: Won the USAC/CRA sprint car main event at Chico, Calif. (half-mile dirt). • Sept. 10: Won the World of Outlaws 58th annual Gold Cup at Chico, Calif. (half-mile dirt). • Sept. 12: Finished second to Steve Kinser (after starting 14th) in the WOO show at Antioch, Calif. (half-mile dirt).
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Dave Despain just announced that Kyle will be on Wind Tunnel on the Speed Channel next Sunday night. Also, there's a lengthy discussion between Despain and Robin Miller about Kyle on the Wind Tunnel Extra website.

I wonder if Indy could be in this kid's future. He seems to be able to win in anything they put him in and on any surface.

Kyle Larson just won night 2 of the Gold Crown Midget Nationals. That's like win 23 or 24 this year. Kyle also won night 1 of the Fall Nationals winged 360s up at Chico before heading to the Gold Crown for the first time. First night he went from 13th to 3rd when he hit the wall with 3 to go ending his dominant charge.
Cheers!

Kyle Larson is just pure talent. Not just to nascar, I think maybe to F1 to just dominate the whole Freaking world of racing. I watched last year as he drove the Crosno car at the Nationals. He was charging there and had what I believe was a tire go flat with 5 to go. With 13 laps to go he drove around Jon Stanbro and slid Levi Jones in one lap, only to go around Darland and others on his first time at Perris I believe. I remember saying to myself? Who or what the heck is in the Crosno car, I went over to the pits to see who it was and when that young dude jumped out of the car I thought? he cant be over 17. He will be one of those racers everyone knows by the time he is 20, setting records now and for years to come. his new nickname. Tiger Woods of Racing
