If the 55 car wants to win the track championship in 2012 they need to hire the DUDE

It really helped the 33 cars started on the front row the first 2 or 3 weeks of the season. The 33 has not really passed many cars on the track this year.

2012 410 Knoxville Champion Mark Dobmeier unless he runs WoO full time.

Lasoski looked great when it counted most...oh wait...lol. Pulled a great pill too...
I also think Dobs takes the title.

Dude can normally get any car going. He is a good driver and good at setup. Making for the combination of knowing exactly what you are feeling and want. He made the 5 and 6 car go when others couldn't, cause he brought in his knowledge.
*edit my post in no way signals I believe Terry should not be in the 55

I would hate to bring some facts in to this argument but I decided to take a look at both the DUDE and Zomer for the weekly races at Knoxville. Here is the breakdown:
DUDE Average Start 8.77 Finish 3.46 ( + 5.31 positions)
Zomer Average Start 9 Finish 5.46 ( + 3.54 positions)
DUDE Average winning starting spot 3.33 with 2/3 of the wins coming from the front row.
Zomer Average winning starting spot 3.75 with 2/4 of his wins from the front row and 3/4 of his wins from the front two rows.
DUDE started on the first 2 Rows 4 times
Zomer started on the first 2 Rows 5 times including 4 of the last 6 races.
I will let the facts speak for themselves. Looks pretty fair to me with the DUDE moving up an average of almost 2 more positions per night and an average starting spot of darn near the same. DUDE moved up every night except last week with Zomer moving ahead every week except twice. This is not meant for a hit on Zomer at all. Just comparing the #1 and #2 overall. Take it as you wish.

If you take out Zomer's 3rd to 19th week, DUDE still has a slight edge with cars passed per night 5.31 vs 5.17. Don't know where you are getting the 33 hasn't passed any cars all year from. Care to enlighten us?

Here are the facts about Kville's top drivers.
Dude has passed 46 cars this year in feature racing. His average start is 7.25 and his average finish is 3.25.
Zomer has passed 37 cars. Average start is 8.5 and his average finish is 5.25.
Dobmier has passed 51 cars. Average start is 11.36 and average finish is6.72.
Tmac has passed 19 cars. Average start is 9.33 and average finish is 8.41.
This is based on local shows only. Excludes outlaw, all star and nationals. The numbers don't lie. Dude has put himself in position to be the champ week in and week out. Dobmier has passed alot more cars and he missed a week while he raced at home with the outlaws. Tmac has not produce in the 55, for whatever reason.

How many times did the 33 car start on the front row. The point race was over after 3 weeks.
At the ASCS races at I-80 and McCool he started on the front row both times.
I'm just saying the 33 car has sure been lucky drawing this year.
It is just too bad he has burned too many bridges during his career.

Looks as if Dobs has found the missing piece in his program to get around the big tracks with the addition of Davey. Money seems to be there for the good motors and equipment. Dude seems to be pretty low budget and just getting by like a lot of small teams. Tmac has had some good runs this year but not the threat he use to be.

What about Dud's t-shirt sales? I did not see 1 moron buying his shirts at nationals this year. Bad t-shirt sales = bad driver.
Still love husets
