The accident referred to on another thread occurred on August 20, 1972.
According to the DM Tribune, one woman was killed and 5 others injured when a car driven by Bill Randleman hurtled over two fences and slammed into the back of a shooting gallery on the west side of the midway.
Anotther auto driven by Bill Hudson crashed through the trackside fence but did not enter the midway area.
It's quite a lengthy article, and I won't go on.
