$2,000/win “Factory Night Special” & “Nationals Warm-Up” 10/1 at LoneStar Speedway
Kilgore TX (8/17/11) by DarinShort.com. Here’s a good old fashioned recipe that all race fans will enjoy:
-Step 1: Mix a huge batch of dirt slinging Factory Stocks from area tracks together, and divide them into qualifying races.
-Step 2: Take the top 30 and let them shoot it out for 30 laps – and the Top Stocker will take home $2,000 in cash!
-Step 3: Let fans witness the shootout for $10.
-Step 4: And what do you get? A recipe for “Factory Night Special” at LoneStar Speedway that fans and teams will not soon forget!
And for a “side dish” the track will be serving up a “Nationals Warm-Up” for RaceSaver® Sprint Cars. Using the identical rules published for the upcoming LoneStar Sprint Nationals (Oct. 13-15), this will give RaceSaver® Sprint Car teams one last shot to get their car dialed in for the upcoming big show. This will also give fans a “taste” of the action that will be witnessed over Nationals weekend. There is no preregistration for this division and complete purse and rules are published at the track website. Fans can expect several out of town teams to be on hand.
Factory Stock drivers must preregister at: http://www.darinshort.com/FSN.html on or before September 28th (the Wednesday of race week). You can also view the event flyer at this link, as well as the latest in event news. Factory Stock car numbers will be assigned in the order they are received from registration; so if you have a number you want to run, you should register as soon as possible for the best chance of getting it. Preregistering will also save Factory Stock teams $50 over race night pricing.
The complete purse breakdown and rules are located at: http://www.LoneStarSpeedway.com
Here are some quick facts for the 10/1 event:
-Gates open at 5pm, with racing at 7:30pm.
-General Admission just $10 (ages 12 and older) -Kids (ages 6-11) just $5 -Ages 5 and under admitted free with adult admission -Military or Seniors (Ages 65+) General Admission $8 -Upgrade any ticket to the Reserved Section for $5 per person -All Pit Passes $30 -No outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside, a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available. -Factory Stock preregistration to this event is $50. Pit passes not included in registration fee. -Factory Stocks from Ark-La-Tex Speedway MUST RUN Ark-La-Tex LEGAL RULES* - Factory Stocks from LoneStar Speedway MUST RUN LoneStar LEGAL RULES* *Note: any brand asphalt pull-off tire will be allowed this night: NO GROOVING or SIPING ALLOWED. *Note: any 'outsiders' must be ALT or LSS legal other than the above tire option. -Click http://www.LoneStarSpeedway.com for directions, class rules, payback and much more. -Visit http://www.darinshort.com/FSN.html to register your Factory Stock or view the event flyer.

www.RaceSaver.com is the sanctioning body for both the STS (Ark-La-Tex area) and SST (DFW area).
And LoneStar is a RaceSaver sanctioned track. The basic difference between an STS and SST car is the RR tire...and in the case of this race (and the LoneStar Sprint Nationals) we're allowing either RR tire to be used so cars from either series to participate.
