FT: Garrett Hansen; A Main: Blake Miller (93), David Cardey (83), Rickie Gaunt (94).
Hansen flipped in his heat and wrecked the car too badly to fix it for the B or A Main. Ford led early (from the outside front row), but was passed by Showtime, who lead for about 20 laps, though Miller was either close behind or swapping the lead with Sheridan. There was a red flag for refueling in the mid 20s. After that, Sheridan began to drop back. Rip came through from the teens to run fifth for a while. Tony moved into the top five. Cardey, who had to restart at the back, came all the way through the field to second. Kruser was either bumped out or spun out, but was never a factor. Spencer was charging early, but smacked the wall in turn one. Rickie ran a steady race on Miller's tail until the final laps. The Gardner cars (93 and 94) seem to be "back." Nadine did not run, and the annouced car count was 28, though only seven cars started the B Main.

That was garbage when Cardey spun Rip out with about 5 to go. Rip actually came from the back twice, at one point he was around 10th and someone lost it in front of him, leaving him nowhere to go, and then he came from the very back to 5th before getting taken out. Congrats to Blake Miller, he did a great job...

It was amazing that Cardey finished that far up. His right front wheel was about 4 to 5 inches back from the left front wheel. While the announced car count was 28 cars. Some cars didn't even start in their heats. A couple of the rookies got some valuble seat time. They were given an extra hot lap session, ran their heat race, ran the semi and then a 40 lap main. It was pretty special watching Super Ricky trying to chase what might have been his old race car with Blake Miller aboard.
