ROUND 3: Thunder on the High Banks, August 27 at LoneStar Speedway
Kilgore TX (8/15/11) by DarinShort.com. The Southern Thunder Sprints (STS) make their final LoneStar Speedway (LSS) appearance of the 2011 racing season on Saturday, August 27th with the 3rd Round of “Thunder on the High Banks.”
A solid field of STS Sprint Cars will be on hand, and you can expect to see drivers such as Koty Adams, Josh Hawkins, Derek Weaver, Cody Robbins, Billy Page, Russell Enright and many more battle it out.
In addition to the STS Sprint Cars; Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Dirt Stocks and Factory Stocks will have a complete racing program of heats and feature races. Rules and purses and rules are posted at the track website.
Here are some quick facts for the 8/27 event:
-Gates open at 5pm, with racing at 7:30pm.
-General Admission just $10 (ages 12 and older)
-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with adult admission
-Military or Seniors (Ages 65+) General Admission $8
-Upgrade any ticket to the Reserved Section for $5 per person
-All Pit Passes $30
-No outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside, a full selection of economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.

As of Monday afternoon, the weather is looking great for this weekend's "Thunder on The High Banks: ROUND 3" at LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore; featuring the final Southern Thunder Sprint event of 2011 plus the Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks and Dirt Stocks.
