Four additional racing divisions will be racing. And the U.S. Air Force sponsored Sprint Car driven by Kyle McCutcheon will be on hand from Alamogordo New Mexico. 10 USAF recruits inducted at intermission, and the USAF truck will be there and fans can talk with recruiters.

Oklahoma’s Matt Covington is leading series points coming into this official ASCS event, followed by Eric Baldaccini, Claud Estes, Michael Lang and Justin Melton.

Here’s what’s on tap:

In addition to the ASCS Sprint Cars, the Limited Modifieds will be racing for $500 to win. Also racing will be the Bombers (reminder, IMCA legal Hobby Stocks are legal to run with the Bombers), Non-Winged A-class 600’s on the ¼ mile track and Winged Restricted 600’s will race on the Action Track.

On the grandstand side, special event pricing will be in effect, with adult tickets $15 for ages 12 and up, ages 6-11 will be $5; and all kids 5 and under are free!

Gates open at 6pm and racing starts at 8pm. All pit passes on August 19th are $30, but there will be no draw fee for the regular Cowtown point’s classes.

Fans can bring in a drink cooler (size of a 6-pack) as long as they do not have glass containers. Kid’s candy call will also take place during intermission.
