Visited Grain Valley Speedway last night and had a great time watching the USAC hotdogs put on their usual exhibition of the kind of racing they have become famous for.Our own favorite,John Stanbrough,proved that once again he" knows how to and likes to."
Don't know if the powers that be will decide to have them back but I sure hope so.We drive many miles every June and July following Indiana Midgetweek and Sprintweek,and this time we got to see these guys and were back in our own little beds by midnight.The support groups entertained well also.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating,so lets hope that Valley Speedway's bottom line reflected a positive result that will call them back to our area.Only the promoter knows if a venture is profitable or not and after all it would not be worth sticking your neck out if you don't show a profit.So here's to you,Valley Speedway, may the racing gods have smiled upon you when you visit the bank.
