From a post on Racestud.... PLEASE EVERYONE PRAY FOR THE LYNCH FAMILY.. Jean, Eddie III, Sye and a friend were in a serious car accident this morning. none of the Lynch family injuries are life threatening, but Jean, Eddie III, Sye and Zane have a variety of injuries with various degrees of severity, but again, no life-threatening injuries! They are all in the trauma unit in Fort Wayne Hospital.

Best wishes for full recovery to all involved. My son and I had a great conversation with Ed and his dad at Volusia in Feb. He was there as a fan, left the car behind in Pa. One of the nicest, most down to earth drivers I've had the opportunity to talk with. Great guy. Again best wishes to all.

Oh no. Really hate to hear this. Have had the pleasure of knowing Jean through the Chili Bowl for a few years but no where near what everyone else knows of her and the entire family. We send our thoughts and some extra prayers from here. Please pass along to the family since we have no way of getting in touch with them. Thanks.

Sweeton

Jean is home today.Respectfully without going into much detail she has long long way to go, but Jean is a fighter. Gettiing her back here was the first goal of the family.
