Thats what makes the Nationals what it is.. You dont have to be a big outfit team to make a strong run & make some nice money...

It just shows how close the cars are these days. If you are off just alittle bit it shows big time! Everything comes off store shelves anymore, and everyone has all the same stuff.

Also, they are all Outlaw drivers, Dobmeier and Brown are the only two who were never regular WoO drivers at one time and Dobmeier did fill in for Tatnell a few races during a WoO season. Believe me, they all wish they were regular WoO drivers.
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

Brown was a regular on the WoO tour several years ago. Casey's #6. Too soon, he wasn't ready.

I think Brown was ready for a decent rookie run in the 6 car. Getting hurt when the axle broke while he was leading at Manzanita sure didn't help him that year.

Sammy is 90 percent WoO, he's counted as an Outlaw. 4 Outlaw cars in top 10 and for the 21st time in the last 22 Nationals, an Outlaw won. 21 of 22!

Outlaws are overrated anymore. They race half as many races as they used to and they don't run against a lot of competition anymore because 410 racing has died off around most of the country. There are more Outlaw caliber race cars in Central PA than on the Outlaw tour. Take away the NASCAR money/influence and they would really be in dire straights.
They don't even know how to spell sprint car
much less chromoly...http://www.ycmco.com

Just like before the NASCAR money/influence right? More Outlaw caliber race cars in Central PA than on the Outlaw tour yet the WoO still puts more in the top 5 and top 10 on a regular basis when they visit.... interesting opinion.

But in recent years, Stevie Smith finished 3rd in '09, Stevie Smith and Greg Hodnett both had top 10's in '10 and Daryn Pittman and Lance Dewease both had top 10's in '11.

Stevie left Posse land to drive for Al Hamilton about 2 decades ago and has been in OK for years but he is in a Posse car, I'll give you that. Heck, Sean Michael had back to back good runs about a decade ago 10th and 12 methinks, always liked him and is brother. Pittman is in a Posse car but is also an Okie just like Tyler is a CA surf dude. As for Greg, I sure wish there were enough decent Outlaw rides to see him back on the tour and in a GOOD car capable of winning regularly because he is good enough to do it. He would represent a company so well, he is NASCAR smooth, smart and impressive enough to do all the things a sponsor would love, quality guy......

If I am reading these results correctly on Kville's website - McCarl has (5) top 10 finishes listed in his career...not bad compared to others who run there weakly...
McCarl, Terry, Des Moines, IA (17) – 1987, 5m, 12 (12) ..Pleasanton, CA – 1992, 88, 16 (19) ..Altoona, IA – 1993, 27, 24 (6) ..Pleasant Hill, IA – 1994, 5, 8 (6) - 1995, 24, 11 (5) - 1996, 51, 11 (8) - 1997, 8h, 16 (19) ..Altoona, IA - 1999, 5, 24 (23) - 2001, 24, 5 (4) - 2003, 24, 13 (15) - 2004, 24, 5 (1) - 2005, 24, 18 (18) - 2006, 24, 19 (23) - 2007, 24, 3 (6) - 2008, 24, 8 (23) - 2009, 24, 17 (15) - 2011, 55, 15 (14)

So Terry has made the A-Main 17 times, (most of them as the car owner to boot) is what you are telling me and in just a few more years than Lance and Freddie have made it 12 times between them, Yikes!! As per usual the stuff you give me is more beneficial to my argument, keep up the good work, thank you!

BRR, that Knoxville history page comes in handy. I am not going ot look it up right now but I think Terry is in the top 5 for most A main starts. I am not a Terry fan but I give tons of respect to the guy, for having a dream to be a race car driver, and has been going after it at all costs. Some might say it is a bad father but had Austin kept it on all 4's I wouldn't have suspected dad was going to give son an inch. heck on the start Terry was already half jumped around Austin then backed off a little to not be black flagged. I don't call it bad father I call it dad reminding son you need to race to earn your position.
