why does the senior class only allow 360 engines ? it seems like it should be open to 360 and 410 cars. might just get a few more cars if it were open... just a thought...

the reason for the 360s is so the old men in the rest homes in vintura have a shot at winning

Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Shoot at Speedway last night most of the top dogs are in their 50's! Mike Faria, Bobby Schwartz, Shawn McConnel, Sam Ermolenko, Eddie Castro (I think too) are all in their 50's!

At the other end of the age scale, what are the kiddies racing for at Ventura. I'll bet that the pit passes cost just as much.

Just another person creating a screen name to talk a load of bollocks instead of anything positive.
Where in the hell is vintura?
Who in the heck Jeff Gorden?

well maby someone will wake up and realize there is more to senior sprints than ventura..wasnt the last winner from san diego ...most of the ventura boys ,oh and old men, wont drive more than 10 miles to go to a race anyways.i just think its crazy that if i had a 410 car and im older than 45, i cant race seniors??!! its not a money deal so who is making the ruling on engine size?

Let's try this. I figure it costs me around $800 to a grand to show up at Perris with a capable winning car. If you would like to sponsor my endeavor I would gladly accept, and I can find at least 10 more cars that would be willing to show up for that amount. The economy being what it is highly restricts many from having fun. If that amount is too high how about just $500? Ventura's cost would be slightly reduced. Please let me know I would love to race.

Thank you Grady for the comment, obviously some of these other people commenting weren't at Perris, nor has taken the time to watch the video. We drive from Santa Clarita to race for free there at Perris and yes it would be nice to have more than 8 seniors show up and sure it would be nice to make some bank to cover the gas, fuel, parts, tires etc., One reason we do it is because a sprint car belongs on a 1/2 mile CLAY dirt track (wicked fast!) . Oh, and FYI the qualifying time for Bill Badger in the Senior Sprints in a 360 was faster than I believe 6 or 7 of the "young lions" in the 410s. I don't think a retirement home is in Bill's near future. I'm sorry about the rant.. I may just be a chick who has loved to watch sprint car racing all her life!
