This was a 30 lap race. To bad this track is in nowhere land on the coast. It's a fun track to watch races at and race on.

I love it that you guy's are finally getting a non wing deal going on up that way. When I was living in Org and Wash, the non wing show's were few and far between, and man did I miss them. It may be no mans land where the track is, but Coos Bay must be about the biggest city on the coast.
Hang in there!

If you go to SCRAFAN.COM site it shows there have been Wingless Sprints running from 2001 on under ODSS / USCA Which slip into ODSS and NWWT. Now for 2012 the two groups are now getting back together hopping to have 10 to 15 touring Wingless cars plus what ever cars from the tracks they run make a bigger field of cars.

I left Orchards Washington in 85, and USAC's Western States ran Portland's paved 1/2, Cottage Grove and a few more, but no regional non wing sanctioning body's that I recall back then. I did see Rebel Jackson Sr run a non wing race ( he kicked butt) at Spanaway's little paved quarter mile track once, but don't remember who sanctioned it. It was not a USAC show for sure. It could have been a open show.
