Looking to use the momentum of a strong finish to last week's Monster Energy Drink Illinois Sprint Week, Springfield, Illinois sprint driver Jordan Goldesberry will cross the Mississippi River to compete in the Show-Me State with the World of Outlaws at Pevely's I-55 Raceway for the Ironman 55 race.
Despite the first three legs of ISW not going the way the team would have liked, the 20-year old racer found more success on the tiny Central Illinois bullrings of Macon Speedway and Shepp's Speedway, bringing the GPC Raceproducts/Modern Paving and Scrap #65 Maxim home with a couple of 5th place finishes over the weekend. Those finishes also earned Jordan the "Hard Charger Award" at both Macon and Shepp's. Goldesberry ultimately picked up a 10th place finish in ISW points. (out of 50 drivers to compete during the five-night tour.)
