Hey guys...
The IRA is at Superior Speedway tonight and we've just completed the heat races. John Sernett was quick time earlier tonight with a 13.311 (the track record is 12.958 and dates back to Donny Goeden's 27G days). Travis Whitney was second quick with Scott Neitzel third quick.
Top 5 Transfer
Heat 1 Results: Tim Vandevere, Bill Wirth, Kim Mock, John Haeni, Mike Reinke/ John Sernett, David O'Neill, Scott Uttech, Ken Melanson, Joseph Kouba
Heat 2 Results: Billy Hafemann, Dustin Lindquist, Joe Symoens, Travis Whitney, Ty Bartz/ Bill Warren, Tim Sernett, Andy Hunt, Dave Uttech, Russel Borland (flipped in hot laps, DNS)
Heat 3 Results: Scott Biertzer, Donny Goeden, Steve Meyer, Bill Balog, Scott Neitzel/ Ryan Irwin, Leight Thomas, Wayne Mojeski, Ryan Wilson
It's a beautiful night here in Superior but there looks like a chance of rain for the IRA show in Brainerd, Minnesota, tomorrow night. Hopefully they'll get it in.
All good things,
Justin

We're moving right along with some iffy weather approaching. The B-main was just completed. Great battle early on between the Sernett brothers (John and Tim) for first and the Uttech cousins (Dave and Scott) for third. With three to go, Tim Sernett took a violent end-over-ender into turn three from the middle of the backstretch. He climbed out and inspected the car.
The finish, with the top 7 to the A-main, were:
John Sernett, Dave Uttech, Bill Warren (from 11th), Scott Uttech, Ryan Irwin, Andy Hunt, David O'Neal / Wayne Modjeski, Leigh Thomas, Kenny Melanson, Joseph Kouba, Tim Sernett, Borland (DNS)
A-main up next...
All good things,
Justin
