After Thursday's rainout, The 21st Annual ASCS Knoxville Nationals fires off tonight (Fri. August 5) with two preliminary programs run concurrently beginning at 7:15 p.m. CDT. RacinBoys Radio will have live coverage beginning at 7:00.
Scott Traylor anchors with Knoxville Raceway announcer Tony Bokhoven leading the race call. Scotty Cook returns to pit reporting duties and victory circle interviews.
Shane Stewart is the defending champion of this prestigious event as Wayne Johnson, fresh off his weekend sweep at Placerville, goes for a record-tying third Knoxville crown.
The Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series presented by K&N Filers next Jackson, Minnesota August 19-20 for the annual running of the Jackson Nationals.
