I'm looking forward to 5 fantastic nights of sprint car racing action. It all starts tomorrow night with the OCRS Sprints at Outlaw, then my husband is taking me on my first trip to Iowa on Saturday. There, we will see the finale of the ASCS 360 Nationals at the Knoxville Raceway along with the 410 All Star Sprint Series.
Then on Sunday we will watch USAC non-wing 410 Sprints at Knoxville. Then on Monday its off to Oskaloosa to see the Front Row Challenge of the All Star Sprints. Tuesday night will be the Ultimate Challenge event of the USAC non-wing Sprints at Oskaloosa also. This is going to be an awesome 5 nights!!!

Have fun at Knoxville. I went to the 410 nats when it had not become so commercial. I went about 25 to 28 years ago . My dad is from western Iowa and my family was up there visiting. He called the track on Sat morning and asked if there were still tickets ava. for the day and they said yes. My dad,mom brother and I as well as my grandparents and cousin loaded up a car and headed east toward Des Moines.
Interesting story was me and my brother had to use the restroom as we parked across the street from the track. We got there early enough to see the cars coming into the track Yes, we got that close and did not have to pay. The only place that was ava. to use the restroom was Dingus. We never saw the the end to the feature b/c of the rain but to this day I can remember everything that happen to a tee.
I even got to sit in the car that Shane Carson drove for Bob Trostle underneath the Marion County fairgrounds.

in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he
stands at times of challenge and controversy."

KitKat and her hubby can be in my "we're going to Knoxville, we are cool" club. Lol. Erich, you can be an honorary member.
