I took a vacation day and drove up to Ventura this afternoon! Dont ask me for results because I havent got a clue! I know there were 27 Midgets, Probably 25 Fidgets and Jr. Fidgets,, 30 Dwarfs and 30 Kids Class cars.
What I can say is they sold out the place! It was PACKED! They did a great job with the track! The races were off the hook incredible and the stands were rockin'! The 5-8 year old kids either dont have brakes in the car or their dads told them if they push harder on the throttle the car will stop because everytime they tried to line the cars up the kids would just ram into each others bumpers and the stands would ROAR!
I cant help but think the track pulled in more money at the front gate at $5 a ticket tonight (Sell out) then they have all season combined at whatever the price was! All I know, is that a lot of people had a great time tonight and sincerely hope they can get at least 10% to come back at least a couple of times a year!
