Second year driver Alan Ambers of Knoxville won his first sprint car feature in Fort Dodge,
IA. Friday night in the Mid-West 305 series. Alan said that the GP Promotions,
J&J chassis, Ostrich Engines, Stivers Ford Mercury sprint car worked
flawlessly all night. He credited his crew chief, Keaton Nunnikhoven for having
the car set up perfect. Alan also thanked his car owner, Shaun Goodno for
sticking with him when things were not going as well as everyone had hoped they
would. He is looking forward to the last 3, 305 races at Knoxville, and a run
at the Mid-West 305 Championship to make 2011 a successful year. 7/30
