Does anybody know what happens to the schedule if Thursday's qualifying night is rained out?

Since the schedule is so packed in they likley will run a double show on Friday if it rains. They did that several years ago when it rained out night 1, they just ran a double show. Lots of cars and a long night, but no other way to do it.

No Kevin Swindell... Interesting, figured he would run.. As well as I thought Jeff Swindell was gonna race and I don't see Tim Crawley on the list... Oh well looks like a great line-up, unfortunately I can't make the 360 Nationals, but I'll be there for the Nationals...And I'll be at Pevley for the it like its gonna be a small car count IronMan 55...

Im told by the track that Cappy says if it happens to rain out Thursday night they will double up on Friday night......100 cars = lots of laps = longgggg night of racing.....I'm not sure what other decision they could make if any as daytime racing sucks and wouldnt wanna run with the non wing cars Sunday....but....how good/bad would the track be by end of night is my only concern

This happened a few years ago and the track was actually pretty good. I think they timed in 98 cars or somewhere around there. It started out really, really greasy -- but after all the hotlaps and time trials, it started working into shape... was awesome for the features. The Dunkins can do some amazing stuff. Hope it doesn't come to that this year, but they should be up to the task again.

Unfortunately as of now Thursday and Thursday night both have good chances of rain...50% last I saw....Friday and Saturday look OK.....With all this heat and humidity it's gonna rain at some point...just hope its late at night or early in the day....100 degrees in Knoxville Monday and 98 right now....expected to be a lil cooler later in week but not much.....By the way...if they qualify all cars on Friday I assume it would be group qualifying? Is that correct?

Negative on the group qualifying. It was just like regular qualifying, with one car on the track (alone) for 2 laps on the clock. Group qualifying holds the possibility of saving time, but isn't the fairest way to do it... especially when timing is so critical (200 pts for QT). There was plenty of heat & humidity in July -- but no rain, sooooooo... crossing my fingers

No Brad Loyet??? I guess he will be running the midget in Belleville. He's been fast on the bullrings in Missouri.. I was hoping to see him at Knoxville.

I spoke to him at Wendy's in Cameron after the Midget race Sunday night at US 36 and he said he would be at Belleville, but that he would have rather been going to Knoxville. I love to watch him run, he really makes it happen in both Midgets and his 360.

I was thinking of the '01 360 Nationals, sheesh. They drew and used passing points more recently in '03-'05 when rain screwed things up -- I suppose 'cause there were more cars. Still did the odd/even type of deal though with 10+ heats and 2 C's 2 B's, 2 A's. I guess we'll just have to wait & see what they do -- hopefully it doesn't come to that!
