First Wave of LoneStar Sprint Nationals Entries Have Arrived

Kilgore, TX (7/30/11) by DarinShort.com. It's been two short days since online registration launched for the October 13-15th LoneStar Sprint Nationals, presented by Smiley's Racing Products, The Oil Medics, Eagle Motorsports, KJC Auto Title Loans and Palm Harbor Homes at LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore Texas.

Although it's been two short days, a long list of Sprint Car drivers have registered their team for the event.

At the time of this writing, below is the complete 63-car "first wave" early-early entry list to the event. Online registration is ongoing at this point.

Please click www.darinshort.com (then select the LoneStar link on the homepage) for more event information, or to get registered. We will update this list in the weeks to come, including a final entry list, which will be published on Tuesday, October 11th. Click www.LoneStarSpeedway.com for track information.

Its really shaping up to be an instant fall classic, so mark your calendars - as it's an event Sprint Car fans will not want to miss!

While I applaud Lone Star for putting this event together, I really wish they would hold this event in the spring, too many big races to choose from all at once, we just don't have the funds to attend this race as well as Devils Bowl, Little Rock, and Cowtown

Whisky...FYI the Cowtown Sprint Nationals and November Sprint Shootout at Cowtown that I used to co-promote are not on the fall calendar this year. So technically, with the addition of this event, there are now three fall sprint events down here instead of four like it has been the past four years.

Hope you can make it...we're offering a 3-day grandstand pass on race night for just $40...individual night tickets are $15/$15/$20.

didn't know that about Cowtown, that solves that problem for us, I like that there will be only 2 classes, 360 and 305 Sprints for the Lone Star Sprint Nationals Smile

Note that we do have a limited amount of camping plus a campground on the property. It's on the far west side of the main parking lot; tree lined for the camping and tree filled for the campground.

There are no services in that area, and there is no cost either. Check in at the ticket booth upon your arrival for details.
