Why in the world is Sammy having so much trouble with Goodyear tires? Once in awhile someone gets bit too but Sammy is having by far the worse luck. If it was the way he sets the cars up surely he would change it. Right?

I think Sammy has to much motor, mayby de-tune and save tires.. It would move him back to the middle of the pack....I dont know if he would go along with this idea because he is so used to running up front.

I was joking of course if anyone took me serious. I know they wouldnt actually do it or stand a chance to win. Sure Sammy would start out good in court and then for the closing it will all fall apart and the he would watch the other guys win. Just like at the track

no joke. he is having horrible luck with tires.. 200,ooo they cost him just last year and who knows how many thousands of dollars he has lost this year already for a 500 dollar tire. seems goodyear tires don't like him out front

Just watched the King's Royal on Speed. Sammy said he ran like 70% throttle the whole race, I find it hard to believe that. He had like a straightaway lead on Walker before that last caution. Don't know what happened in Brockville last night but he's got to do something different because no one is losing tires like he is.

Saw the same interview and it was likely more like 99%. I am sure to a race car driver it feels like 70%

yes i hated to see sammy LOSE last year knoxville nationals, but as hard as sammy and donny were running that night, what tire would have survived, goodyear, hoosier??? and motor was not smoking and the end for the top finishers!!

I'll bet Sammy's special Knoxville Nationals paint scheme will not be Good Year blue and yellow in any way.....those are expensive tires for sure.

Maybe,just maybe,they not fully cured,or could they be older ones that were around for a while or a bad batch of rubber,it is hard to say and the last guy I would believe is the Goodyear guy.Are the sidewalls giving out? or is the side wall expanding more in this hot weather we have been having.Are they x -raying the dirt tires,I know they used to x -ray the Nascar and Indy tires but since I'm old school maybe in the interest of money they quit doing that.Years ago I met a guy who worked for Firestone and he said the best tires were the ones made in the morning ,before it got so hot,he said they had less problems with those than the ones made in the late part of the day. Old school makes it seem a reasonable statement.Or maybe its just a little piece of metal embedded in the track,it must follow the sprinters around.

Connected brain cells? Or does he think the rest of the country has none? Watched the Eldora race today on tv. Sammy: "I was never more than 3/4 throttle the entire race cuz I was going to make sure the tires lasted". He said it twice during the 2 minute interview. yeah, Sammy, you were never more than 3/4 on the gas the entire race. What you are selling ain't no one buying that B.S. Race drivers from across the country watching that interview had a good laugh.
Next time pick the hard tire like Walker's crew did!!!!
