GCS LABOR DAY 4k
Saturday and Sunday sept 3rd and 4th!
Saturday- Novice, Minis, Hotstocks run normal program with normal purse.
Smods and Mods run twin B's.
4 cars out of each B will be inverted to set 4 front rows of Sunday's A!
Saturdays payout for smod and mod twin Bs is as follows-

Motors - IMCA carb, vacuum, compression, and displacement rules all in effect. Top 3 are for sale. Must be on lead lap to buy. Must run Sat and Sun to buy. $1000 cash plus swap. Buyers motor must be 100% IMCA legal.
MUST RUN MUFFLERS!
GCS points will be awarded both nights. Mod and smod will be 20 max on sat.

Grayson County Speedway in Sherman, Texas. Right across the border from Oklahoma. Really good quarter mile track. Owner likes it dry but don't let it fool you, there is passing and the time I was there it was a good show.

All mini stocks and drivers of any age are welcome.
Must run street tires.
This race will be supported by the young guns series.

This Saturday run a tune up race for FREE.
This Saturday GCS will hold its normal IMCA weekly show. In addition for those of you who run unsanctioned cars and want to get a feel for the track before the big race, we will run an outlaw class. Mods and Smods together. No entry, registration and one free pit pass per car.
We are more or less running a test and tune durring the races for free and there is pay for the cars! We expect over 10 cars in this class this week as the big race approaches.

Last few days have brought calls from Corpus, Shreveport, Lawton and OKC. Also getting some inquirys from some of DFW's biggest modified names.
Sherman's hotels are filling up and this is looking to be quite a show!
Last night the track was classic GCS. 4 lanes with identical lap times, plenty of passing and 3 wide all night long with NO crashing!!!
More importantly, YES, the BBQ stand will be open!
The countdown is on!
Fridays playday has been announced-
7-10 lights on and full race night track prep!
More importantly two drivers from both mod and smod will be randomly drawn from those at the playday! one ticket per pit pass. Bring a big crew, get more chances! They will start 5th in the twin Bs on sat! That's only one spot out of the transfer to the A!

Pit spots are first come first serve. Come as early as you would like. We will kick every one out for passes around 5.
Grandstands open at 6. This will be a full place both nights and I believe we will sell out of seats easily on Sunday and some folks will be turned away. Be early.
All cars must be signed in no later than 7:00
You may bring in coolers (no glass). All coolers will be left below the bleachers to add seating capacity this weekend.
We have a badass BBQ stand. That's all you need to know about eating.
If you are staying at a motel on 75 in Sherman, go eat at the IHOP across the street. Tell them your from the track. They are one of our biggest sponsors!
