Chris, you are doing an unbelievable job.
If you need any help holding anyone upside down and shaking out the last few nickles, just holler.

I really have not done anything, but the folks that have helped out have done a ton, at this point there is sooooooo many people to thank I just don't know how to do it and where to start, I just thought about someone that I forgot to talk to, that would be Nick Mitchell, he should be good for at least another $100.00 bucks you can almost bet on it, and I decided to use the $100.00 from Car Wash Mike in the dash plus the WRA called, they are putting a check for another $100 in the mail today in memory of Walt James. So here is where I need some help, I would say for sure that the chance of the Walt James Dash having well over $1000.00 going to the winner is about 100%, I need to get the word out to everyone that this Saturday is a must "BE THERE" event, I would hate to see an empty grandstand for one of the most knock down drag out-balls to the wall 2 lap ass kickin 410 sprint car spectaculars in a long long time. This is a no points deal and I haven't a clue what the rules would be for an added race that has no bearing on the rest of the night...(ahhhh, I do miss the smell of that wacky fuel that would be 'missing' from the back of the trailer years ago...) I can't call it an open show but I won't be bringing a tape measure and my scales are somewhere in the storage room & I have no idea what the track has to say about a little "modification" just before the start of the dash. Remember, there will be 60 seconds to "adjust the fuel level" before the last two laps. BTW, the Billy Wilkerson Award will be going to fast time, and that IS part of the USAC-CRA point race, I suspect the fast time car will be glanced at by Ostling, like up close and personally.

THANKS STEVE... Where would you like to see the $$ go? Fast Time, Main Event, Trophy Dash? Last in the Main, Third in the dash? Hard Charger, the list is wide open... I think that is very cool for Victorville to step up and help out, this race is for the fans, I sure hope they remember this race for a long time...just by the way, I mentioned it before, the dash winner gets a vintage silver plater that was a trophy dash trophy from Ascot, the main event winner ALSO gets a 30 year old Silver Platter won at Ascot by the Kindoll team...and it's a real nice piece of history.
