I will be in Southern Indiana this weekend for work but am wanting to catch at least one sprint car show. Where should I go on Saturday, or Sunday???

Saturday go to Lawrenceburg.

Sunday go to Haubstadt.

The Little 500 Saturday at Anderson.

This is the ONE pavement sprint car race everyone should see a least once.

33 cars, 3 wide x 11 deep just like Indy.

500 laps on a quarter mile HIGH banked asphalt track.

Pit stops required.

Nothing like it.

I don't think Anderson qualifies as Southern Indiana.

Indiana is not that big.  It's only 2 1/2 hours from Louisville, KY to Andeson,IN.  You have to do the Anderson 500 on Saturday night.  They pack in nearly 10,000 fans for this race.  Lots of big names like Eric Gordon, David Steele, Brian Tyler, Chet Fillup and more.  Round 1 of qualifying is today.  They do a solid job with the website updates.

Check out all the stats.  Pretty amazing all the info. they have dating back to 1949.

My first trip to Indiana a couple of years ago, Andrew took me to the Little 500. It is something everyone should see atleast once. Last year we went to Lawrenceburg for the KISS race and Haubstadt for the MSCS race. That is what I would do again. This year though, because of gas prices, Sun Prairie is the destination. Whatever you decide to do, have fun!

I've already been to the Prairie. I love that place but will be in the Evansville, IN area, not Wisconsin. A mutual freind of mine Aaron Pierce is racing in the little 500 and I wanna go to that race but I don't know if I'll have enough time saturday night. Here is another question, is there any racing going on Monday in Indiana???

Thanks guys,

If your in the Evansville area then you've got to hit Haubstadt it's just 20 miles up the road. Aside from tonights Jack Hewitt Classic at Kokomo, Larryburg and Haubstadt would prolly be the best races all weekend in Indiana.
