Im thinking of (Gulp) going to the Winged Gold Cup event after Calistoga. Can you camp at either Calistoga throughout the week until the races start up north? Can you camp at the Gold Cup races? Are there hookups at either location etc? If you guys can fill in whatever useful information id appreciate it!

Hit the NorCal message board, track websites or give them a call. Sorry, I don't have the #s handy but they're not difficult to find online. Getting the info first hand from the respective tracks would probably be the best approach.

Rob, That's exactly what I am planning on taking. I took it to Tulare a couple of years ago.

Yes they have hook-ups at the Gold Cup and Calistoga. Calistoga is really tough to get a campsite, because of Labor Day weekend and the gounds are open for other campers(non-racefans) also. Here's Chico's number #530-350-7275. For Gold Cup you better call quick if your looking for water and electric hook-ups. They have outlets just for electric all through out the fairgrounds at Chico.
There will be tons and tons of campers at Gold Cup FYI. See ya hopefully at both.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!
