Why has the SMP mods had such low car counts ?

Spread out too far and it's hard to race during the week I guess
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

I think a big part of the low car counts had to do with the rules. They were not running USRA rules and most of the cars in the area are following USRA rules.

They actually changed this, this year. non transfers get $40 which is cost of entry. They didnt advertise it anywhere and its been mentioned alot thats why guys didnt show. Maybe they will come back next year and advertise that a bit more. But i expect them to do more shows around the KC area if they can get the tracks to work w/ them
