Hoping to keep up the momentum gained from three consecutive Top 5 finishes, Springfield, Illinois sprint car pilot Jordan Goldesberry will make his first 360 sprint start since late May as the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders invade the Peoria Speedway this Sunday July 25th for the 2nd Annual Sprint Summer Shootout. Goldesberry is no stranger to the series, as he won Rookie of the Year honors with the SIA four seasons ago. The last time the GPC Raceproducts/Modern Paving and Scrap/Rock Solid Landscaping #65 competed with the 360 between the frame rails, 20 year old Jordan garnered a Top 10 finish at Quincy Raceway on May 30th. Following Sunday's race, it's back to 410 competition as the bright yellow racer will see action on five consecutive evenings in the inaugural Illinois Sprint Week, starting on Wednesday at the lightning fast Spoon River Speedway, site of Goldesberry's first career sprint feature win in the 2007 Tom Knowles Memorial.
Racecar spelled backwards is racecar. Racecar upside
down is expensive.
