Robbie,
I sent Jonah and email. Why not contact all of the teams that are racing at the USAC races on Friday and Saturday night at Canyon and see if they would like to stick around for a Sunday afternoon Open Show? It would be a great chance to possibly get some cars over there from California and Indiana to show up!

If any of you Cali boy's would like to race in front of a full house of enthusiastic fan's, you need to come on over and check this place out... Shon Deskins who won the second race there will be running at Victorville tonight, so just ask him about how much fun our new track is.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

The USAC guys are gonna want a bit more clay on that track so they can see where they are headed.

Ok, I'm lost but what's new. Where is Arizona Speedway? I'm game for a day show on Sunday. Sounds good to me.
RIP Chet and Mark. You might be gone but never will
be forgotten.

Look on Robbie's site, it's all there, including the results and some video.

Sure wish he would not have planted the second added race on top of the Oval Nationals. That is going to do nothing, but hurt the crowds at both tracks.

It might not have been the best idea all around, but the crowds at that place are amazing, and with the cooler weather... I'm sure he'll pack the place once more, even without the hardcore sprint fans that go to Perris.
Oh!! I'm ready! I'll see you all tomorrow night.

AZ Speedway is 300+ miles away and runs 360's.... Different cars, different crowds... Not sure why you would feel this would really hurt the crowds at either place.... There are hardcore sprint fans that don't go to Perris..

Of course there are, but I know more than a few here in AZ that will be at the Oval Nationals for all three day's, and look forward to it all year. It's just like when the Cali boy's would come over for the Western etc at Manzy.
I was at ET for all three slightly "open comp" show's, and I to don't think it will effect either venue noticeably, and probably not with the Ovals car count at all.

Normal race, I agree with you 100%. Spccial event like Oval Nationals or the Western World - totally different deal. It would be the same if The PAS stepped on the Western World when it was a 410 race at Manzanita and ran a 360 race at the same time. Fans who would go to both, then would have to choose one or the other. Exact same deal here. Makes no sense.

I agree Scott. If you guys could drop Jonah a note he would probably change the date is my guess. He was probably completely unaware of the Oval Nationals when he decided on that date. He is a Moto guy!

all of the promoters need to get together and figure this scheduling out PERRIS is gonna miss out on several good cars and teams tonight because of west coast 360 scheduling at santa maria . theres a great many of us that will drive far distances for sprint racing but yall need to get it together . i actually drove to placerville yesterday to watch the ascs and northern boys and 1 girl last night and for a friday night there were 40 cars 5 heats 2 B mains 1 A main great show real racey track. got in pick up and im in orange county at my house getting ready to go tail gate with the pass crew . and ive been watching these forums all week and im still trying to guess how many cars will be here for this great race . please whoever is involved get the schedules organized with the other tracks.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.
