How about a round of applause for the 51 tonight...racing with a broken sternum Freddy comes from 15th to finish in the top 5.

Pretty sure he was hard Charger for the night !
One tough SOB in my humble opinion.............
When he told me last week at the Grove that he would race tonight, my first thoughts as I walked away was "Yea right Fred."
Again, One tough SOB in my book......Go Fred!!!

Does this go under the racers are Athletes thread? Keeping good drivers on the track. Glad you are healthy enough to be back Fred. I wouldn't think a 5 point would fell too good tightened down on a broekn chest.

Don't know what happened in his Heat race, maybe running against the cushion wasn't as comfortable?
But what an excellent run in the feature Freddie! Nice job!

...clap... clap....
An amazing feat... I "bruised" mine years ago (nothing as bad as his injury) and I hurt for a LONG time... I hope it didn't hurt him more or postpone his recovery.. A class act!
Oh yea, I am not posse, (although I was BORN in PA) but a race fan...
