Do go to the 212 Bar and Grille both before and after, but especially after. They are tremendous supporters of racers.
Do sit in seats that have backrests. (there are plenty of them)
If you like watching from air conditioned comfort, you can pay an additional $5 and sit in the suite at the end of the front chute. The cars will be coming right at you.( I think its called Wolfies Den, and I dont know if its smoke free or not in there)
Dont expect too much from the concessions. It is very generic. The fresh grilled burgers down on the south end, is probably the best food they have. Of course, french fries are pretty hard to screw up. If its been hot and muggy, Im told to avoid the nachos. I dont order them, so I wouldnt know.
Upper level concession stand closes early.
Do watch your step when walking/climbing into the stands and going back and forth to concessions/bathrooms
Bathrooms can be good, or kinda grungy like last week (upper level), but for the most part... adequate.
When exiting the track, if youre going north, use the north exit, south travelers use the south. This works out very well.
Do enter the speedway from the north entrance. There is nothing else like that view coming down the hill to add excitement to the night.
