The thing I find (wrong with his injury) WHY!
You look at his car and there are a few things you notice.
His body work is very high on both sides of the car, he's way down in there. small guy.
I have looked at his car many times, and ask myself why he does not have telescoping side bars on @ side of the car right at the top of the body work?
Of coarse it's all about weight.
How stupid is that? you look at his car and at least two blocks of steel strapped to the frame. To make wait.
How many times do people need to get hurt before they wake up.( SAFETY FIRST)
I'll tell you what I'm not the biggest fan of Mr. Saldana, but sure in hell don't like see a guy get hurt.
I like to see him at work!
I think a simple couple extra bars on Saldana's car and we would be talking about the horse shit way Sweet took out ELjr, and took out Saldana.
Now Lynch has a trashed car he has to pay for, and sweet walks away with daddy Kasey to pay for little boy's toy.
So all that being sed best wishes to Joey and his family.

Dude, chill. Sweet drove it in on the bottom and it didn't hold. Certainly won't be the last time we see it happen, and I gaurantee that Ed Lynch has done it before and will undoubtedly do it again, because he's a racer, and sometimes it just doesn't stick. People need to quit bashing him for a bad slider and give it a rest. It simply didn't stick. It'll happen again, probably tomorrow night, and again Friday night, Saturday night, and so on. Part of racing.
I don't mind seeing Brad in the 9, but I'd have chosen about 9 other guys before him. Sides to be exact.

My post is not so much about Brads driving ability.
More about a guy getting sensuously hurt do to inadequate safety measures.
You don't want to see any one get this badly injured.
Especially someone of Saldana's calaber.

I've watched this replay several times now, and I honestly don't know what evil everyone is seeing in Sweet's move off the bottom of 2. It was not a 1 on 1 slide job and Brad had a great run off the bottom and let it gain momentum as he drifted to the top.
Lynch was as at one point 3 car lengths behind entering 2 on the top with a helluva lot of steam which Sweet had no way of knowing. In my humble opionion Lynch no longer had the position and should have lifted. He was the last one with a clear line of sight and Sweet obviously had position exiting 2 low and sliding on the back straight with no clue to Lynch's position.
This being said, I'm an Ed Lynch fan, and in terms of this accident, we're talking millisecond reactions at one of the most prestigious races of the season. It's a racing accident. There should be no guilt or blame. Only regret that it ended the way it did. Get Well Joey.

Yep, just a racin' deal. I feel bad for Joey getting caught up in someone else mess though, but that's how it goes.
Sides has been great this year and gaining confidence the last couple years. Instead I would love to see Brooke Tatnell get a shot with the 9 ride.
