This is in regards to the Latemodel Nationals, but I have never been to Knoxville, and know many of you have. Best seating along the front stretch? I have been told above row 20 to see the entire track. Any other tips, or thoughts on Knoxville campgrounds would be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I have been to both the Sprint car and Late model nationals a number of times. i prefer the back stretch, but I do not believe they have yet opened the back stretch for the late models (maybe i am wrong, but they werent the couple of times i went). I thought the corner up in turn 1 was the best seat i had for the late models. we were about 20-25 rows up? as far as camping, i have always stayed at the north campground. just call the ticket office and they will give you the name of the gentleman that runs it. (John? i believe) Hope this helped at least a little.

If the haulers are parked in the infield, you indeed need to be up as high as at least row 20 to have an unobscured view of the backstretch.

I prefer section B or C really get a sense of the speeds as they enter the corner but still not too far into the corner and I'd say 25 is the row I usually sit at the polls for the overhead start at 33 I believe I don't care to sit that high start to get too far away.

Section B/C is my personal preference also.
The aisle at the west end of section C is almost directly in line with the starter's stand.
The aisle at the east end of section C/west end of section B is slightly further towards turn one. I usually sit at the east end of the rows in section C, but obviously each to their own.
I would also agree that rows 23 to 25 are about the best visibility wise. If you get higher than that you have a better chance of getting a breeze out of the south (if there is one) but in turn you're further from the track. Also, if you're old (like me), any higher than that gets to be kind of a trek up and down to go to the concession stand or restroom, a trip I find I need to make more often the older I get! LOL!
Anyway, have a good time!
