Anyone know the status of the knoxville safety crewmember that hit with the front end off the wrecked car? Or know where he was hit?

Yes,I'd like to know who it was too.Those guys do a great job and put their own lives
in the line fire to help the drivers.

All know is he was hit in the chest area from front axle parts when AJ Moler crashed hard. It was a fireman that was injured not sure of the name .

He suffered two broken hands and a deep cut to his leg had surgery last night and is at home now.

I dont know the fireman that was hurt, but I thank all the safety crew people at all the races..Cant be all fun in that heavy hot gear they wearand the heat index is 106.. Thanks to you all..Jobs well done..
