Picked up from the NorCal forum: The April rain-out main went thus: Rich VanderWeerd, Bud Kaeding, Danny Faria, either Davey Pombo or Ryan Bernal (because Pombo gave up his #3e at some point to help Ryan chase points), and Jace VanderWeerd... The track was pretty greasy and very hard to run during the late afternoon, even though countless vain attempts were made to get it in reasonable shape... 22 of the 28 cars at Hanford ran this postponed event... Showtime got knocked out early after coming through the field several spots. Craig Stidham ran off the banking in turn three while chasing T. J. Smith for the lead... Rich VanderWeerd took fast time for the 07-16 event; Sheridan was only a tenth slower after fixing his front end... Heat One: Stidham, Rich V., Hiller, Jace V.... Heat Two: Showtime from sixth, T. J., Frith, Henry... Heat Three: Faria from fifth or sixth, Little, Russo, Carlile... Heat Four: Alexander from fifth or sixth, Gutierrez, Kaeding, Hamblin... Sheridan, Faria and Alexander all looked very strong in their heats... B Main: Henry, Howell, Hawkins, Peard... A Main: Faria from flag to flag through a good half dozen or more reds and yellows (including Stidham's flipper down the front straight on lap 15), Showtime, Rich V., Wes Gutierrez, Jace V.... Stands about 30-40% full; too bad, because the weather was really pleasant.
