Sounds like he had quite a battle with Meyers but yes congrats to Shaffer and crew! Wonder what happened to Hafertepe? He was running towards the front as well.

The rest of the racing world better take notice because the 83 is heating up at the right time...again. Congrats to the All-Star, Ohio local or whatever he's labeled as.

I couldn't agree more dirthawk. This guy has been the hottest, winningest driver since around June or so of last year. Great owners, awesome crew chief/crew, and a driver with a great attitude. Tim WILL shine in Knoxville...should be good

Do you think he would be a threat for the Woo title if they ran full time? I think he would be a top 5 car at least.

There's no need to run the WoO tour. The ASCoC and Ohio when off schedule works extremely well for the team. If they win the All-Star title that's another 50G and the expenses of traveling with the All-Stars is much cheaper than riding around with the WoO.

kinda like Tim Kaeding running out here in Cali.....he get's 50,000 for winning the KWS. I don't see anyone beating him at this point either.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!
