I am actually kinda pumped up for this. The USAC sprints have a two day show at Dodge City Raceway Park on Friday and Saturday night, August 12-13. Any of you going?
While my attempts for car pooling failed several times in the past, I won't ask that question. However, maybe alot of us get together and follow each other up the Northwest Passage and back home? That way if there are people who need a ride, we can have them covered.
Vote "yes" or "no" or whaever best applies.

Boy, you are way out of the loop. Ed is not even in Dodge anymore.
USAC has the promotion deal in Dodge for now but as in the past no one ever gets renewed. HUMMMM, wonder why that is?

The dates are the 12th and 13th. I was looking at it going that does not sound right for the 15th and 16th.

Who was the person that use to say I paid $15 to see a real sprint car set still. Or something like that. He was a regular on the racing forums. I don't surf around much anymore so he may still be on the boards.
Kind of reminds me of Cholley's remarks. If there were only 15, can anyone imagine what a great track we would have for the feature. But I forgot they will probably wear the track out with the other 3 or 4 classes??? At some races over the years I left thinking or talking to myself, what if they had run the feature 1st??

I can not let this pass without a reminder that Mr. Mossman was also a firm supporter of SFS running all 5 classes every night.
And that it was so the champ sprints and super sprints would never have a night off

Your are right. Old age creates memory problems I'm living proof. I always thought that was one of the all-time great signatures.
