I'm going to ask -- and look -- around tonight, but I was wondering if anyone is yet using or considering using one of these: http://www.kwssprints.com/_blog/Sprint_Car_News/post/A4MP_Engine_legal_with_Golden_State_King_of_the_West_Sprints_more_in_2011/.
I haven't seen any thus far, but I may have missed it.

I had people with me who needed to get back home, so I did not go into the pits. But judging from the exhaust manifolds, none of the 24 cars at SMS were running the Schatz-Shaver motor.
