Okay, It's a week away until I roll into O-Hi-O!! Any one got opinions on car counts? Are chances favorable for enough cars for a traditional Kings Royal format? Are the NRA 360 Sprints running a healthy field of cars this year?
And lastly, Any predictions on the 2011 King? Will Steve Kinser win again for a 1st time ever back to back win? Will Madsen get his revenge from last year? I'm going with Sammy all the way barring mechanical failure or a crash.

Wow--I never realized Steve has never won it back to back years until you mentioned it! The NRA 360's have had some descent car counts this year, they ran Eldora on May 29th and pulled in 41 cars.
do it in the dirt

Will Dirtvision be making this available on Pay Per View? Will the TRACK be worked properly? Hint, everyday till the race....

Can't wait for next week! It all starts with the Brad Doty Classic and then usac at Brownstown and the awesome Kings Royal Weekend. We have 22 guys going this year!
Yeah that is shocking nobody has won the Kings Royal in consecutive years. My pick this year is Jason Sides!

Gonna be a good one this year. 9th Straight Kings Royal. Im guessing a 25-30 car count. NRA's show should be a good complement to the Outlaws. Hafertepe is a good choice, But I'll take former winner Daryn Pittman (if in attendance).

If Tony's goobers find the keys to the water truck and are aloud to use them, Joey will put the Mopar on the cushion and therefore victory lane as well. I doubt that this happens as Tony knows his super stars and over priced chevs can't run with Joey on the high side. The cushion is what makes Eldora worth the 8 hour drive. If there is no cushion, who cares? Dough Boy cruising around the middle and the bottom isn't as good as Curt Stroup at Port Royal.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Didn't realize there hasn't been a consecutive winner but I still wouldn't count "the king" out. Nothing better than watching him beat the "young kids" lol.

Any surprise entries this year? TK or any other CA driver's gonna make the trip east this year? Kevin Swindell, Zemken, Tatnell, Herrera, Holtergrave or any Posse, guys other than Hodnett, gonna be there? Would really like to see 7 or 8 Posse guys show up. I haven't ever been to a race east of Eldora. Would be nice to see those guys race.
This will be my 8th KR and am looking forward to it more than ever. We are upgrading this year from a tent to an RV, pretty excited about it.
My pick this year will be Joey Saldana........ or anyone but Sammy.

Pittman, Walker, Smith, and Hodnett are headed over.
But you've probably seen all of them race since they went local recently.

Yeah, I have seem them several times. I dont really think of them as Posse but I'm not trying to start up that whole debate.
I was thinking more along the lines of Dewease, Montieth, Dietrich, Krimes, Leppo, Ott, Layton, M Smith, Esh, Kauffman.............
