For Release 9a.m. PST
May 21, 2007Ontario California May 21, 2007 Davey Pombo has not been a stranger to the winners circle in 2007. He has won 4 out of his last 5 races. The latest victory came May 19th with the VRA at Ventura Raceway in Glenn Crossno's iTi powered Bullet chassis. Davey started deep in the field to claim the victory. Veteran racer Cory Kruseman came up short in his efforts to challenge for the win. Davey also still remains the point's leader in SCRA. Oh, I can't even pass this one up. I was there. Cory's car quit early on and he came from dead last on a restart. At the time the race finished Cory's no. 6 car was sucking the paint off Davey Pombo's fuel tank. Davey drove a good race, but let's not get carried away. Also, bragging rights wouldn't be so easy to come by is Jonathon Henry's humper hadn't gone flat. (Just ribbing you)

Take a breath and calm down a little. It's just the company of the winning car doing a little PR to promote their products. They ALL do it! From mini sprints to NASCAR, it's the standard in advertising in today's racing world.
