All of us at Moose Racing would like to thank the Kazarians and The City of Perris for yet another great day of celebration! As always, the day was filled with activities for the kids and an awesome fireworks show that was sure to please young and old alike. Having the City even more involved this year hopefully is a plus and maybe with some of those city officials there for the nights festivities will encourage the city to stay more involved. With the states proposal to close many of the County Fairgrounds next year (and yes Perris is on that list ) hopefully if the city and/or county get more involved it could have a positive effect on that decision. In the last owners meeting there was discussion that at the race on the 30th - owners/drivers/crew people would make a huge effort to get some newbies to the track for that race. That if all of us as a collective group could bring even 1 or 2 people that hopefully we could all generate some new fans. Hopefully that effort is still occurring. In the back of so many peoples minds is oh geez, 1 or 2 more people in the stands, big deal. But multiply that by how many of us are in the pits and how many die hard fans sit in the stands. Last year we had some friends from Palm Springs show up - wondering about what we do and why it controls our lives: to be honest, I never would of thought that these people would be enthused about our sport, but wow was I wrong! Last night they brought 5 more people! Who, by the way loved the racing and have pledged to be back. With the fireworks as an added bonus we put up a large poster in Huntington Beach Glass - the questions posed to us about the event was amazing!! But did we think they would really show up?? Emails and texts received yesterday confirmed that 18 of them did go and state that now they can see why we boast about the excitement of Sprint Car Racing at "The Pas"
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY HAVING JUST 1 NEW PERSON SHOW UP ----

Laurie and Tom are some of the best ambassadors for Sprint Car Racing in Southern California. As I have stated previously, they make every person who stops by their pits feel as if they are part of the team. People like the Moose team are the key to the survival of the sport as we know. This sport is their passion. Every spare dollar they have goes towards their car.
I have always mentioned that if we all brought one new fan to each face, the growth would be amazing. The sport and excitement it generates speaks for itself. All that really has to happen is getting the person in the gate. If they see it, they will return. I have yet to bring someone to a race that said it was boring, or that they didn't enjoy the race.
