Henderson did get "Laytonized" as we call it here...

plenty of big names were on the sidelines on Thurs - Fri...the WoO cheerleaders should be glad they have a chance to pick up a few dollars and some pizza money to survive the thinning of the herd.

question for 360 cherrypicker cheerleading squad leader...

a known POSSE 410 driver with wins at the Grove pulls into Iowa...2 days late to run a 410 against the "best of the rest" WoO at Kville...but rather to unload a 360 and cherrypick a track with the lowest car counts in your region.

what would be your post then?

hint: not all jackasses are from Canada, but most horses asses are in Texas

Actually, California has more horses than any other state. They also have the most burros (asses). Just trying to make things technically correct since we seem to be so into the "facts" on these Pusse vs. The World threads.

So, if David Copperfield and his spell check assistants pull into Pennsylvania, are they still the best majician's in the state, or does it go to BRR and his band of merry fellow's for using smoke and mirrors to make their beloved posse look good? Remember, I have NEVER (yep, capital letters) once said anyone from Texas can or will hand the WoO guys their jock-straps. Personally, I like Mr. Copperfield.

No, I would say that they use the RESULTS to make the Posse look good. Fact is, the Posse has better results year in and year out than ANY group of local racers on the planet. Face it, one or two hundred dollars won't get a million dollar operation very far down the road these days and there were a number of them that only cleared that much this past weekend.

At least when the rest of the locals throughout the USA draw those one or two hundred dollar checks, they only have to drive a short distance to get home...

texsprintfan: please tell me what other part of the country is keeping 14 WOO regulars out of the A main. That number could have even been higher if not for the provisional given to Kerry Madson and the 1st Alternate free pass to the Wild Child. Only 10 W)) regulars made the A main both nights but they still owned our local drivers, this time around.

It'll be interesting to hear what other parts of the country only have 10 WOO regulars in their A mains. Go Brian/Cris!

pa racers that won at the grove this past weekend

0

pa scoreboard outlaws vs. posse

outlaws 3 posse ZIP that is the stat the rest of the world remembers. you can talk amongst yourselves all you want and come up with every crazy unimportant stat you want. BOTTOM LINE posse got beat.

you guys talk it up but then try to change the subject. you talk on how badass the posse is but then when they don't win you change the subject to how many posse finished in the top 10,or how many posse out qualified the outlaws,or how many posse were in the pits pickin their noses ect.

remember the rest of us don't give a crap about your inbred asspickin hillbilly heros. the posse don't need no maps. they can follow the outlaws like they did last week.

The other funny part about your post is that, if you knew as much as you think you do about the WoO guys, you would know they don't need ANY money to make it. You see, they have sponsors and people that pay for their expenses. They figure in expenses, whereas your 7 or 8 good guys NEED to win so many races. They achieve this by beating up on the other 14 or more guys in your area that CANNOT afford to do what they are doing. JUST LIKE THE REST OF THE U.S. sprint car racers. More smoke and mirrors, but nice try. I guarentee there isn't one regular that decided to pack it up after racing at the Grove "BECAUSE THEY MISSED A SHOW!" Nice try though.

They don't need any money to make it? LMAO. You are not serious, right? How do you think the drivers make their living? They are racing for a percentage of what they earn.

So why aren't the teams donating 100 percent of their winnings to charity? There are Cup teams with 15 million dollar sponsors that don't even have enough money, and yet an Outlaw team with a sponsor for a couple hundred grand doesn't even need money to go up and down the highway?

By the way, 36 410s at the Grove the week before the Outlaws came to town. How many 410 races do you even see in a year? Five? Ten? Zero?

it must be a drag to have to farm your 410 racers out to cherrypick 360s...and act like it was some big deal.

our racers do beat the circus...and have better finishes than locals in parts unknown...year in and year out...it is a fact.

wright - you wanna talk about BEAT...look at how the 35 eeked into the field at the Grove...and weigh that against 3 yellows and a fuel stop in the 8 lap heat race on his last try...talk about pathetic.

since we are using your numbers that makes 24 count 'em 24 TRAVELING outlaw teams out on the road this year. compared to how many cowering posse members waiting to spring on them only to be DENIED. and t-mac and shaffer DID make main event starts at the grove. there you go again making crap up to make your boys seem better. but if a bunch of alcoholic wife beating porch dwelling pups is all you have i guess you do what you can.

don't ever recall ever saying jac was any good at the grove. as a matter of fact he sucks in pa period. but he makes up for it at the big-E,chico and tulare and 25 or so other tracks. tell me where else is the posse a threat at. but we were talking about something elese. there you go again changing the subject when your pack chas'in porch dwellers get their butts kicked.

p.s. i don't care where haud finishes, he is a one man show anytime he straps in. and he has more people in more towns at more tracks to tell him so than all your boys combined. you want to put hauds outlaw stats up against your posse guys outlaw stats bring it on. LMAO.

Hey Tex, when was the last time a Texan won a WoO race? Better yet, when was the last time a Texan finished in the top 10 of a WoO race?

Also, how's the weekly 410 racing going down there in the Lone Star State these days?

not to take sides, but I don't see where any of those facts disenfranchise Tex of his opinion. I don't see ANY 410 races in Oklahoma, but I don't think it makes me or anyone else less of a fan with less of an opinion. Not all of us are as fortunate as those who---by luck--- live near good 410 racing.

I kinda prefer it this way though. I would like to see the WoO come back through sometime. But I like ASCS or our OKC weekly show. Personally I kinda think 410's are slightly overrated. I see both when we go to Knoxville and I don't think the difference in racing is all that great.

But to answer your question Hawker........I believe Sam Hafertepe Jr. was the last Texan to finish in the top 10 in a WoO race.

You're right you righteous PA race fans are just so much better than any of the rest of us.

I guess after the whoopin Donny Schatz put on ya'll you have to dig a lil bit deeper to prove that ya'll are better than everyone else.

Ya'll have the best weekly racing in the nation up there..........I'm all for that. But with so much of the crap some PA fans have talked on this message board I believe it's more than open hunting when the WoO goes up there and lays it on ya'll for some on here to get a few kicks about it. I personally don't really care if Schatz won or Rahmer or whoever. But with all the trashtalk here in 2007 it's really nice for some to get shown up. (a few of the fans I mean) Really I myself go for any of the former ASCS drivers. And no they did not fare to well up there.......but I find it interesting that ASCS has been a lot bigger sprint board or proving ground for the WoO than Central PA.

See, I disagree with you there, OKC. I am not into any of the people starting threads whose sole purpose is to bash the drivers. That goes for the PA fans as well. Tex has never even seen a race here and still starts his daily bashing threads.

I think you would change your opinion about 410 racing being overrated if you saw a full field of 410s with good handicapping, so the fast cars are starting in the sixth row every night.

are those same fast cars that start in the sixth row some of the same cars that got there asses handed to them last week at the grove? you seem to want to bring up haud lately and passin cars. well 'ol haud passes more cars on a regular basis than anyone. ok so he can't seem to qualify worth a darn lately, but he does pass cars and that is one thing you pa guys seem to admire.

Wait a second, where in this thread did I mention Haud? I didn't mention him at all. That was BRR.

Savage, Read my post again. I clearly stated that those 14 drivers are ones that didnt qualify for BOTH nights. I wont even respond to wright-one, he already admittied hes an ass.

On a side note, this has been a lot of fun for me the past week seeing the reactions of the posters on this board. I think Skinner sums it best when he says that people dont realize that 99 percent of the fans in PA dont even care about this debate. Can I be lumped into the 1%? lol! Savage will probably never admit it, but he actually rode to Limaland last year for the Doty in the back of my truck with BRR in the passenger seat. You better believe he was giving us crap about the Posse the whole way there too. Go Brian/Cris!
