Weather is ok. We have not seen any rain to this point, and the first round of possible showers has died out the closer it has got to the Sioux Falls Metro Area....Round 2 is at the River right now and hopefully will follow the same suit and start breaking apart and losing ground. The clouds have definitely improved the possibility for racing tonight...keeping the energy away for longer. I think at this point I would say there is a slight advantage that the Race will run tonight versus not.

Its still raining at the track. By the time it stops and the track gets reprepped it'd be 930 pr 10pm. Sucks they had to call it but it was the right call. Maybe if this was a saturday they mightve waited, but people have work to get to tomorrow...this includes the local drivers that were going to race.

I understand wanting to see some racing but, did you bother to look at the radar or a forecast before you left home?
It was fairly obvious already a couple days ago that the chance of racing tonight wasn't good.
With the weather we've been having lately if the weatherman says its going to rain it WILL rain, the only question is how much.
As far as calling the races already, it is a Sunday night, people have to work tomorrow.
If the show would've started at 9pm they would've had <2000 people in the stands.
That is a recipe for losing a pile of money if I ever saw one.

Looks as though "knoxville5m" retracted his gripe.
