Just wanted to say way to go Lawton Speedway...I like how you recognized the fact that without your help Lonnie Nunley might not win the A feature. Nice job letting him have a headstart after the caution..You warmed up alot of fans that were cold, so WAY TO GO...... and by the way don't forget people can see you in the press box so when you do that crap and then laugh about it not to smart.....

Come on......they wouldn't show favoritism now would they? I thought the Nunley's had something to do with the fight last weekend??? If so, then what are they doing at the track?

what more could you expect from a racetrack that is run by Lanny Edwards. The only reason they have 40 years of racing experience is because over the years that was how much drivers wanted to race...........they didn;t care what a-hole was runnin it. Just lookin at some of the idiots that like to play favorites up in the pressbox at SFS.........not much of a suprise that Lawton is the same.
But kudos to ya'll drivers and race teams that go out there and put up with their bullshit..........without ya'll there wouldn't be races.............at Lawton or SFS.
How much would could a wouldchuck chuck if a
wouldchuck could chuck would

They might work for Mary Kay, and that's how they show their sponsorship! You know, instead of a name, you get a pink car!

Maybe the (LSRA) will step in on this matter (doubt it) thought they where supposed to have a represenitive oversee things from the press box? Oh I know it's who you are and who you know.
Oh well welcome to Edwards land once again.

Well I see everyone is upset with Lonnie winning the features all the time...I would just like to say everyone has opinions...Just would like to say I watch the races all the time and the Nunleys are just people that put money into there cars and everyone complains that there always the top dogs to catch well those that complain put some dang money in the motor and see what happens hell the rules are open in the mini stock so yeah if I was racin I would have the best stuff to in mine...Point is if you see you can run with the big dogs stay on the porch cuz obviously they got some money in there motors and no one else wants to do that so don't hold that against them because they are going by the rules...If you do want to blame someone you blame the flagman cuz he is suppose to throw the green when there at turn 3 tire if someone jumps before that then he should black flag or put them on the back simple...now if lonnie or anyone if that matter jumps the start who is to say they did because what if they went when the green flag waved and no one else goes, the point on this is because its a nunley people are focused on them and not the flag or the light so of course it would like they jump if that is all you are doing is watching them...Just my opinion and I am just a spectator...PS take a look at the sprints sellars wins all the time does he jump or not or does he just have a good setup car and balls to flat foot it which I do believe he does so Nunleys probably do have junk motors and they just know how to flat foot it and make it stick....

I think the point is trying to be made that the green was thrown WAY BEFORE the field was bunched up!!!!!!!! It may not have made a difference in the outcome but let's get the feild in racing order and not strung out before the green drops.

Well on the smithracer person comment..they put the order on the chalkboard and tell the guys 1 to go and its there fault for not being behind the car they are suppose to be behind and the flagman watches the leader remember leader sets the pace so get on the persons back bumper and you will be alright...

I just wanted to add a perspective from someone in that feature race. I have no problems with the same winner every week, we all know who the one is to beat each week. However, I drove past the lineup board and there were maybe 3 or 4 cars in the right spot. As we were shifting in the middle of the pack, the green flag came out. I understand if people are too far back it is up to them to get up to their spot, but the majority I saw were much further up the standings than they belonged. This happened on 2 of the restarts. I was taking the green coming out of turn 2 while letting people get in their appropriate spots. All I want is a fair opportunity to get the best finish I can. I think all drivers deserve that no matter who they are or how much money they spend. If I had better options to race in Texas, then I would certainly do that. I love the competition at Lawton and I hope the money I have dropped on a much improved engine will help tighten things up with some of the faster cars. As Ministock32 said, if you want to change who is winning every week, spend the money. That is what I am trying to do.

It's not that he won Sat. Night, its that he had such a big headstart over all the other cars...They were never given a chance to get lined up before the green was thrown and the press box people thought it was funny and let the green stay when a yellow should have been thrown...That is my gripe.. I don't like cheating fast motor or slow motor cheating is cheating....

in the race on the restart we were not givin a 1 to go as we crossed the start-finish line, i was 1 row behind leader on back straight when the yellow light went off , the leader picked up the pace but did not jump the start he does set the pace... i bet every race is different from where the flagman throws the green, never the same he actually waived the flag right before we got to the flag stand, but the green light was on.the flag man screwed up bynot giving the 1 to go. i would disagree about the ladies in the pressbox playing favorites with the nunleys, hell they probably dont like them anymore than you guys.. as for the lsra, i am a class rep. and we have showed no favoritism towards them. and yes with what little rules we have they are legal, if you remember they had to take off there aluminum heads last year eventhough it didnt say you couldnt have them.. jeff foster

It wouldnt be so bad. If they didnt let the 10N jump 2 cars on a restart last saturday. That second time this season they let him do it.

I must say, I wasn't impressed at all by what track officials did last Saturday night. That was the biggest F up excuse of a racetrack that I have every seen. I mean legends have raced this track and now it's going straight south. Everyone knows who Raymond is. The mentally handicapped gentleman that has the flags. Even he knew when to throw a caution flag and when to restart. Even his black flags were accurate last week. Seems to me Raymond should get to be the REAL flag man at Lawton. And everyone alse in the stands had a WHAT THE F*** look on their faces when restarts were started on the back stretch. I've watched racing for 20 some odd years and this has to be the most pathetic race nights I have witnessed. I don't know if I will ever go back. Congrats Lawton Speedway for turning away dedicated fans. That's good business savoy.

Wow I was thinkin about bringing my Factory Stock to Lawton, I may reconsider now. I've read the rules on the class, and see many cars running against what the rules say. Too bad the wheelbase isn't 108, hell they'd have many cars from closer locations!
