It's way too early to speculate whether this will have an effect on the August 20-21 WoO race at this point, but hopefully the community and track can recover as quickly as possible once the flooding ends.
MINOT, ND (6/22/11) by DarinShort.com. The roller coaster ride of flooding in 2011 has taken a drastic turn in Minot.
With mandatory evactuations and record flooding predictions, the NoDak Race Club has postponed racing at NoDak Speedway until further notice.
The new multi-million dollar state-of-the-art grandstand also is in the flood path, so the track is being taken apart to create a dike around the grandstand.
