I can only find the Dash and A main. Must say that is some awesome racing. I am so putting this track on my list.

Thanks for looking. Yeah, I have to agree, about going to this track-3 and 4 wide during heat races??? That's pretty rare/awesome!! I think the Dual in the Dakota's is definitely on my schedule for next year.

Didn't Kevin have an incident with Brooke Tatnell as well the night before? I thought the nickname (Rocky the Flying Squirrel) that someone gave Kevin a few years ago was quite appropriate. Too bad Sammy has set a bad example for Kevin or he might have that NASCAR ride by now.

I don't suppose there's any video of "the racing part" of this confrontation is there? Because the account from Skidooxp19 makes it sound like Kinser ran over Kevin (who had the position) and we all know THAT's not possible. Video would clear up any "silly" speculation.

Very possible that was the case, but I dont know, wasnt there. Guess what, it is part of racing, contact is going to happen. Even the best in the business misjudge from time to time and make mistakes

. Just ask Sammy- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hS9WJ_db_H8

You REALLY want to start that conversation again??? Thanks for your attempt at a lesson in racing/humor , all I asked for was video from the other night, because like you, I wasn't there-and as per usual there are a lot of "experts" on here who weren't there either. As far as Riverside goes-when Stenhouse Jr. tried to run Sammy into the fence and got all butt hurt when he took HIS OWN car out of the race-I can't help you.

Just a quick explanation on the scoring. Kevin Swindell completed 9 laps in that heat race, as did Kohlan Fedyk and Todd Mickelson. Swindell was ahead of both Fedyk and Mickelson when they completed lap 9, and so Swindell was scored 5th, with Fedyk 6th and Mickelson 7th. The leader took the checkered flag before the caution came out for Kevin's spin, therefore the race was complete.

Thanks Johnny. Maybe you said that on Saturday night and I just didn't year you. I think it was just a product of hard racing. No one really ran over anyone. Kevin or anyone else going for second to get into the dash would have done the same. Awesome show both nights.

Why is the convergence of the name Kinser, the words waiting at the scales and next stop Princeton, Minnesota, making me nervous? I know of families that race there and haven't talked to each other in years on account of the things that happen on that tight little bullring. Meanwhile Dollansky sweeps Grand Forks and heads to his home town track. Should be a good one. wink

I was also sitting in 3&4. I would also have to say it was just hard racing. I was in the pits before the races and the Big Game Treestand rigs were parked near the scales, so it wouldn't have taken Sammy long to get to the scales. If you want to piss off any driver just start something while he or she is still strapped in the car after a hard fought race!? Can't say for sure what took place, but will not say anything about it, till it comes from someone that saw it first hand. People, if you have never seen a WoO race at RCS in Grand Forks put it on your list of new tracks to see!!! You will not regret it, the place is bad ass!!!!

For the sake of Kevin's career, Sammy needs to let him fight his own battles. That is if he chooses to fight. Didn't Sammy's actions concerning an incident with Kevin at a USAC race get them restricted or barred from USAC. And didn't that have something to do with the Kevin and the Kasey Kahne NASCAR deal going south? About a month ago Kevin was in a Nationwide race driving a Jack Rouch Mustang and got unnecessarily nailed by a total stupid move by another driver and when they interviewed him later he was very gracious, only slightly critical of the other driver and thanked everyone involved for his opportunity of being there. And apologised to Jack for tearing up his car. All the while, with a wide smile on his face. I thought he showed extreme maturity. Obviously, Sammy wasn't there because there wasn't any drama. The Bulldog has a ton of talent, hopefully Sammy doesn't spoil his opportunities

Kevin was running 2nd and made a huge push at the lead and lost momentum allowing Steve to challenge for 2nd and a spot in the dash. Kevin shouldn't have pushed so hard to win the heat when he was already in a dash position. I did hear from someone at the track that Sammy approached Steve as the cars came off track and that's when the incident took place. I remember at the nst in Cedar Lake Steve went the wrong way on the track to get at Sammy in the pits during a red flag after Sammy and Kraig got together causing Kraig to flip. It seems to me as long as their kids are racing the rivalry will never end which is great for us sprint car fans, hopefully they run neck and neck at the nationals the battle Sammy and Schatz had last year was fantastic to watch.

Can't remember for sure and it was right in front of me, but I think it was the last Copper on Dirt at Manzy when Sammy came over and got into it with Jerry Coons Jr and crew over a incident between Jerry and Kevin in turn two. Jerry walked from turn two from where he's crashed after tangling with Kevin to where Kevin was sitting at the end of the front stretch under red to have a little heart to heart, and Sammy came running in and all hell broke lose. There was a similar incident over in Cali not long before that.

For the sake of Kevin's career, Sammy needs to let him fight his own battles.

What I got from that video was a very clear car on the spot and the 40 coming up. Should have went low and not tried to hold the upper line with an Engine blaring in your right ear.

LIKE, fight own battles. I was at Farmer City one time in the pits when Kraig was new. Every driver was running Kraig off the 1 and 2 berm, on purpose. From what I remember those years ago it was Steve in the pits saying to son, "Hold your own"

I even remember which drivers it was pushing off the track, but that means nothing now.

Of course he will. One thing I give Sammy respect for, he might be a midget but he backs down from no one. Steve and him have had 100 dozen fights and Steve normally comes out on top. Sammy and Steve, in the end, do respect each other! Plus, as said before, villain and hero meant a lot more merchandise sales for both of them.

I have seen my dad as a Steve fan and booing Sammy my whole life. Though this last Nationals, that same respect came out and for the first time in 28 years I saw my dad clapping to see Sammy win another for the old timers. In the end RESPECT!

I was in attendance and would say the incident between Kevin and Steve was more or less a byproduct of hard racing. I don't believe anything was intentional. Though I do recall saying to one of my buddies to keep an eye over in the pits as there could be some fireworks. Turns out that was the case.

Another funny thing that caught my attention was when the drivers assembled on the stage in front of the main grandstand for the dash redraw. All the drivers showed up in their scooters or four wheelers, Sammy was the last to arrive, followed closely by one of the WoO officials, who was running to keep up to Sammy as he approached the stage. Made me really think at the time that something was up.

Well said. It hasn't been 28 years but I have always been a big fan of the king and loved to boo Sammy. But these past two years I surprisingly found myself also cheering for Sammy. You said it perfectly i ended up respecting Sammy. Know instead of cheering for Steve I just hope for a good race. With these two mad at each other....... Again .... That should make for some great close racing in the near future. Heck forget Schatz, Saldana, myers and everyone else I'd pay just to watch these two race each other!!!

How long have you been watching the WoO? You must be a rook. Don't bet your whole farm on your comments.

Sounds like it, go read about it on ibracn.com. Enjoy watching all three of these guys, but if Steve did grab Sammy by the throat, Steve is gonna need a $$$$ fine and maybe a suspension. No one should ever be allowed to do this.

Come on you guys let this go and didnt respond. Fines, and suspension are for pu$$y doorbangers. Issues will be handled the way open wheels have always handled them.....with there fists. If you dont like it might I suggest the "Racing" that happens on sunday afternoons.

I don't aim to please.

Hopefully the world of outlaws officals decide to look the other way an let the drivers sort it out. Besides they would gain fans too. I'm not saying start some fake WWE crap but let them take care of things their way. Heck about the only good thing in napcar is watching the replay of the 1979 Daytona 500. So I say let them fight hockey style, when one hits the ground separate them and send them back to their pits wink
