Looking for help in catching some punk kids breaking in to Campers in the North Campgrounds in Knoxville. Latest culprit has been the Brown Bus. Race fans have been coming to the Brown Bus in Knoxville for over 20 years. If you are anyone has any information on this provide all information. Thank You.

Sadly you wont get any help from the Knoxville PD. They are to busy handing out tickets to the very people that bring commerce to Knoxville, Yes i have donated my 114 dollars to the city of knoxville. Now that im off my soap box it does make you mad that people do not respect anyone or anything anymore. If caught these vandal/ thieves need a old fashioned country ass whipping. If its anything like Des Moines it is now kids under the age of 18 doing alot of these burglaries so chances are no time in the slammer just a gentle slap on the wrist and relased back to parents who think there kids can walk on water. Ive dealt with this in des moines with a property that was recently shredded by vandals found out last week it was 4 kids under the age of 17 who when asked by the police why they did it. " we where bored ". Im moving my camper down soon to the north campgrounds ill keep an eye out for sure.

Someone lend me a camper to stay in for a week and I will do security for free. I am a night owl any way. I'd come and stay all week, with my son, in a camper and keep as much of an eye on things as I can. Would be a good get away for us.
*edit Maybe have a golf cart and sputter around, for most of the nights. I guess it would be like house sitting. I am a stay at home father, at the moment, so I think it would be fun. I guess the fun part would be helping my fellow race fans and also maybe get to catch some Jack a$$-a$$ Hole kids.  My son ever does this stuff or just totally disrespects other people like kids now. I will whoop his ass, bottom line.

I agree a good ol fashion ass whoopin is indeed a good idea. Sad that kvilles finest won't do anything about it

I know they have been stealing gas cans from campers as well. I'm sorry to hear about the bus. The local PD and county sheriff do not want to do anything about it. Can the raceway do anything? I don't know if John can help? Problem is if this is kids what will happen to them if they do get caught, NOTHING.

I agree. Knoxville PD is more intrested in harassing the fans that bring the pot of gold to their fair city. Maybe they need to concentrate on solving real crime. They need to keep a closer eye on peoples property in the north campground.
