Getting 'Aggressive' at Grand Forks!
Racing
on the premier sprint car series of the world requires great partners.
Each year since 2008 Craig Dollansky Racing has select events to get
exposure for partner Aggressive Hydraulics. The same is true this year
as 'The Crowd Pleaser' will get 'aggressive' this coming weekend at
River Cities Speedway in the flashy Aggressive Hydraulics #7 paint
scheme for the first time in 2011.
The
World of Outlaws events in the Upper Midwest are a great spotlight for
the hydraulic cylinder company based in the Minneapolis region which has
customers in all fifty states and products operating in every
continent. Aggressive Hydraulics sets a high standard for designing and
manufacturing mobile style hydraulic cylinders for numerous industries
and applications.
Since
joining Dollansky, Aggressive Hydraulics Founder and President Paul
Johnson has become attached to the sport from the start. "I became an
associate sponsor back in 2008 and Craig proceeded to win the first
Outlaw race of the season at Volusia in Florida and led the points in
the early part of the season. He had a great year with numerous
victories, made the podium at the Knoxville Nationals that year, and was
in the hunt for the championship until an arm injury late in the
season."
One
of the most unique things about dirt track racing is the ability for
fans to get autographs and talk to their favorite driver after the
races, an area that Johnson noticed Dollansky does an excellent job. "I
was impressed with the size of Craig's fan base and saw how he was one
of the last guys signing autographs in the pits after every race. I
also experienced how well spoken he is and a great promoter he is for
his sponsors, which is one of the reasons we have stepped up sponsorship
participation since partnering."
For
Dollansky he couldn't be happier having great support from Big Game
Treestands, Karavan Trailers, Eaton's Aeroquip, and especially
Aggressive Hydraulics this weekend. "We're looking forward to running
the Aggressive car this weekend as well as Princeton next week, Paul and
Jenn Johnson are great friends of ours as well as great supporters of
this race team along with all the Aggressive Hydraulics employees so we
can't wait to run the car and hopefully get them a win."
After
Grand Forks this weekend the fun resumes both on and off the track on
Saturday, June 25th in Princeton, Minnesota. Craig Dollansky Racing
will host a fan appreciation open house at their eye-catching race shop
located just outside of Princeton. Fans are welcome to check out the
details behind a 900 horsepower sprint car and observe what it takes to
assemble a World of Outlaws sprint car team. Bring the whole family out
to 10842 313th Avenue NW to see the shop and visit with the Big Game
Treestands #7 team from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with Dollansky signing
autographs at noon.
"Since
we're running right in our backyard at Princeton Speedway which is just
five minutes from our race shop we're going to have an open house,"
commented Dollansky. "We've never had one before so this will allow
people to check things out, see the facilities, and race cars for the
fans and our sponsors and anyone else that wants to come. We don't
typically have an opportunity where we race this close to home it's been
a few years. We've got some things in the works to have at the open
house and there's going to be some prizes as well. One lucky fan will
win a chance to work on the race car and be a part of the crew at the
track for the evening along with some other prizes we're giving away."
The
race day activities don't end there, after visiting the CDR race shop
head over to nearby Princeton Speedway where Aggressive Hydraulics will
host a hospitality event beginning at 4:00 PM prior to Dollansky and the
rest of the Outlaws slinging dirt on the high-banked ΒΌ-mile oval for
the first time since 2008.
If
you're in North Dakota this weekend be sure to swing down to the #7 pit
area after the races to get the new Aggressive Hydraulics autograph
card and get your picture taken with 'The Crowd Pleaser'. The races at
River Cities Speedway are not the only time this year that Dollansky
will swap the traditional black and orange Big Game Treestands colors
for black, red, and blue. Fans can also catch a glimpse of the
Aggressive Hydraulics scheme at the following events:
- Princeton Speedway in Princeton, MN on June 25
- Nodak Speedway in Minot, ND on August 20-21
- Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN on September 17
