This was my first trip to Knoxville last weekend but I did not see Robbie Wolfgang. Is he still racing Knoxville or is he running another series?

They have been running that car in the 360 class the past couple of weeks.

My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.

He wasn't driving it last weekend at Knoxville. 1 of the Stephenson brothers was in it. Pretty sure Robbie lost the Phillips Floors 7k Ride..

This past weekend the 305 driver Matt Stephenson was driving the 7K car that Robbie had been running. I have no idea why though.

Robby had a post on his facebook saying their 410 motor wasn't ready for this weekend, but didn't say anything about losing the ride so not sure what the deal is.

Good to hear! Wolfgangs are always nice folks to visit with. They put my little girl in the car to sit and treated her real good when we took her down to visit last year.

Paintboss...I have a simliar story with both Robby and Doug. I grew up with Doug being my hero (and he still is). Since the mid 90's, however, due to career changes, my wife and our family moved to northcentral SD, basically Wissota Late Model country and don't get to near as many races. My 10 year old boy, ironically also named Robby, knowing Doug was my hero, via the internet has become a big time Robby Wolfgang fan. Last summer we made the 8 hour round trip to Huset's just to take him to see the young Wolfgang race. He had a very good run that night and came home with a top 5 in the Smith 33 that included a whale of a save where he "Cowboyed Up" in turn 4. The whole trip my little guy was talking about hoping to get to meet both Doug and Robby. I was looking forward to it, but a little bit aprehensive as he had built the night so much up in his mind and was hoping that Robby would do a bit more than say hello kid thanks for buying my t shirt. I didn't have a thing to worry about...Doug visited with the both of us and I talked with him about how cool it was introducing my son to one of my heros and that Robby was quickly becoming one of his. Then he got his pic taken with Robby and they hung out with him for about 20 minutes, showed him the car, both signed his new shirt and made my little guy feel like he was the most important person in the pits to them. I can't thank them enough...it was a very special night and no matter what anyone says...the Wolfgangs are special people that are the definition of what this sport is all about. My wife...being one of those "scrapbookers" made a very nice framed picture with the 2 Robby's together and it hangs proudly in our family room.

Sounds about like me, Wolfie was always my hero but Robbie won my daughter over that night and My daughter over and the Wife shot the breeze with Mrs Woflie and Robbies Sister as well. Nice Folks.
