Eight cars deserted Ventura last night and towed to Perris. What's up?

Which 8 cars are you talking about? From what I saw, there were 3, the Kershaw's and Brody Roa. And even one of the brothers has ran more than once in this series. I was glad to see the Roa kid at Perris for his first run.

I don't think anybody deserted Ventura they just decided that they wanted to run a different track. So are you saying if you run at Ventura you can't run anywhere else because if you do then you are considered a deserter ? Perris was glad to have these so called deserters & them deserters put on a pretty damn good show.

I think the extra $250 for the top 360 had something to do with the decision to race the PAS.

I guess that makes them "Outlaw Racers". Only Jim isn't the triple A of the early 50's and doesn't have a carrot called the Indy 500 to dangle to keep them in line.

Wow, deserter that is pretty rough. Jim is a great guy and I sure hope he doesn't feel that way. Brody's 2011 plans from the beginning of the season were to race as many tracks as possible this year and gain that valuable experience needed to be the kind of racer that Turn4Rob wants to watch. Brody will get his first experience at Santa Maria this coming weekend and if all goes well and the money holds out, he will be at Victorville for the open show on June 11. He will then return to Ventura for a couple weeks and race in Big Mike's All Coast Challenge.

Brody would like to thank SoCal Performance for the fuel certificate and USAC for the $200 bonus for being the top 360 last Saturday night. It was too bad the cushion smashed in the wheel cover and busted off the bleeder hose because he was looking to have a pretty good finish.

The BR Performance Team recently lost a significant sponsor, so if anyone out there is interested in jumping on board, you can contact Brody through his website. No amount of help is too little.
