There is a post on 4m regarding an accident at Jacksonville cancelling the rest of the night's races. With the way that track is laid out, I would think it unlikely that a car could get into the stands, but a sprinter could jump the fencing by the pit area.

There were several ambulances and fire trucks. Helicopter just left the hospital. Couldn't make it tonight, but when I heard sirens etc. turned on scanner and heard stuff going on at the speedway. Don't know details, but helicopter made a quick in and out at the hospital. So far have only heard one.

A little bit more of the story: Jacksonville Journal Courier.
PumpMan, there's a pic of the car in the story if you can identify. Story sounds like spectators more than drivers were injured.

Yes I heard, still a bad deal, I can not tell what car it is from the pic............All I can make out is it says on the front wing is (Billy Jacks), I just heard the car was from Iowa and the injured was Jimmy Hurleys dad and crew and a friend they brought with them, the friend is the one that is in bad shape, that was airlifted.......Thoughts and Prayers

Didn't mean for my post to sound like I was minimizing spectators being injured. I just meant it sounded like you were looking to find out if a certain driver may have been injured and I was pointing out it sounds like the injured were spectators. Sorry for the confusion.
